Got married this past January...his wife’s name is Avery...Graduated from Park Hill (MO) High School...Attended Crowder (MO) College, where he graduated with an associate degree in general studies...Is the nephew of Andy Ashby, who was a MLB pitcher from 1991-2004 with Philadelphia (1991-92, 2000), Colorado (1993), San Diego (1993-99, 2004), Atlanta (2000) and Los Angeles-NL (2001-03)...Enjoys fishing, golf and spending time with friends and family.

2022

Entered 2022 as the top prospect in the organization according to Baseball America...Went 2-10 with a 4.44 ERA and one save in 27 games (19 starts) with Milwaukee...Made his first career Opening Day roster...Went 2-8 with a 4.81 ERA as a starter (88ip, 47er) and 0-2 with a 2.79 ERA as a reliever (19.1ip, 6er)...The team went 5-14 in his starts.....produced three quality starts...Struck out 126 batters in 107.1 innings...Notched his second career save in a 7-3 win on 5/15 vs. Miami as he struck out eight batters over four scoreless innings (only baserunner came on a K/WP)...Produced a career-high 12 strikeouts over six innings in a 3-1 win in the second game of a doubleheader on 5/30 at Chicago-NL...was his first career 10+ strikeout performance...On 7/23 signed a five-year contract through the 2027 season with club options for 2028 and 2029...Was on the 15-day injured list from 6/20-7/2, retroactive to 6/17, with left forearm inflammation and again from 8/22-9/19, retroactive to 8/20, left shoulder inflammation.

2021

Spent last season at the Alternate Training Site in Appleton, WI.....was added to the 60-man Player Pool roster on 8/25.

2019

Was named 2019 Brewers Minor League Pitcher of the Year after going 5-10 with a 3.50 ERA in 24 games (23 starts) between Class-A Wisconsin (11g/10gs) and Class-A Carolina (13gs)…produced 135 strikeouts in 126.0 innings...Was a 2019 Midwest League All-Star as he led the league in strikeouts (80) prior to his promotion to Carolina...Earned Brewers Minor League Pitcher of the Month honors for May 2019 after going 2-1 with a 2.37 ERA in 5 starts at Wisconsin (30.1ip, 36k).

2018

Went 2-3 with a 3.59 ERA and 1 save in 13 games (10 starts) between Rookie Helena (6g, 3gs) and Class-A Wisconsin (7gs) during his first professional season in 2018...produced 66 strikeouts in 57.2 innings...Was named Pioneer League Pitcher of the Week for 7/16-7/22, 2018 after tossing 7.0 shutout innings on 7/21 vs. Ogden.
