Attended South Mecklenburg High School in Charlotte, N.C., which also produced former NBA All-Stars Bobby Jones and Walter Davis as well as former MLB players Stu Cole and Carlos Crawford...Also played quarterback in football, going against New England Patriots quarterback Drake Maye in conference competition and basketball at South Mecklenburg...During his time away from the game between his junior college stints, he was playing slow-pitch softball before his high school best friend, Breon Ishmael, talked to the Caldwell coach about Davidson...His mother, Donna, father, Kym, and brothers, Shakym and Rae-Kwon, all played slow-pitch softball. When Bo was little, he always wanted to pick up their bigger bats and swing them around...Started getting called Bo by his father when he was little, after Debo from Friday, because he was taking all of his older brother's stuff like Debo took stuff in the movie. Then when he played sports it became Bo Knows for Bo Jackson so it's been with him one way or another for most of his life.

Continued his breakout in San Francisco's system by advancing to Double-A by mid-July...combined to hit .281 with 16 doubles, 18 homers, 70 RBI and 19 steals in 114 games between High-A Eugene and Double-A Richmond...16 of his 18 homers came against right-handed pitching...had an .891 OPS vs. righties...Slashed .309/.412/.507 (.919 OPS) with 14 doubles, six triples, 10 homers and 56 RBI in 72 games for High-A Eugene, his first time at that level...Named a Baseball America High-A All-Star for his performance in the Northwest League...was also tabbed as a Northwest League Post-Season All-Star for his time in Eugene...At the time of his promotion to Double-A, Davidson ranked among the Northwest League leaders in average (.309, 2nd), RBI (56, 2nd), OBP (.412, 4th), SLG (.507, 3rd), OPS (.919, 4th), hits (87, 4th), triples (6, 2nd), walks (49, 7th), extra-base hits (30, 7th), total bases (143) and runs scored (53, T-5th)...Promoted to Double-A Richmond on July 16 and spent the remainder of the season there...Logged a .713 OPS in 42 games for the Squirrels... batted .245 with five homers in 26 games for Richmond in August...Stole 19 bases and was caught six times between both Eugene and Richmond.
