High School...Was committed to play at the University of Arizona...His mother, Robyn, was a four-time All-American softball player at Fresno State (Calif.) University...His stepfather, David Specht, was a swimmer during his time at the Air Force (Colo.) Academy (also served as a fighter pilot)...His brother, Joe, played baseball at Boise State (Idaho) University (2020) and Cal Poly (2021-24)...His other brother, Zachary, played baseball at Grand Canyon (Ariz.) Spent the entire season with Double-A Portland, where he was named the team’s MVP after leading the Sea Dogs in runs scored (74), hits (119), doubles (25) and RBI (61)...Also ranked among the Eastern League’s top 10 in AVG (sixth), hits (second), doubles (third), triples (T-2nd), XBH (eighth), total bases (fourth, 193) and runs scored (third)...Posted a .984 fielding percentage at 2B, which ranked second in the Eastern League...Was selected to play in the SiriusXM All-Star Futures Game on 7/8, playing the entire game at 2B and going 1-for-3 with a double.
