Timothy Donald Locastro is a New York native, born and raised in Auburn, N.Y. where he attended Auburn HS....He is one of only two players to be drafted out of Ithaca College (also, RHP Tucker Healy in 2012)... Set single-season school records for runs (71) and stolen bases (40) in 2013...Was named the 2013 Empire 8 Conference Player of the Year after leading the conference in batting average (.436), doubles (tied, 13) and triples (six )Attended Ithaca College (NY)...Set single-season school records for runs (71) and stolen bases (40) in 2013... "The bad news is the basement won't be finished for a little while. The good news is I'm going to the big leagues."...Participated in the virtual SAARC Autism Speaks Arizona walk on Oct. 31, 2020, in support of his nephew, Finn O'Brien.

Had six stints with the Yankees; April 17-May 31, July 16-22, July 26-28, Aug. 2-17, Aug. 29-Sept. 30 and Oct. 10-Nov. 10, appearing in 38 games overall.

POSTSEASON: Stole a base in his first career Postseason game after entering as a pinch-runner for the Yankees in Game 2 of the ALDS vs. Cleveland...Also pinch-ran in Game 2 of the ALCS at Houston.

2021

Batted .290 (20-for-69) with 4 doubles, 1 triple, 2 home runs and 7 RBI in 33 games…was 4-for-4 in stolen base attempts...Averaged 30.7 ft./second, best in the Majors for the second consecutive season (30.8 in 2019)...In his 16 starts, hit .317 (19-for-60)/.406 OBP/.500 SLG with 11 runs scored...Led off 13 times and batted .320 (16-for-50)...Hit his first career leadoff home run on Sept. 6 @ Giants...Reached base safely in 9 straight plate appearances from Sept. 23-27, 2020, 1 shy of the club record (10 by Paul Goldschmidt from Aug. 17-19, 2018).

Hit .250 (53-for-212) with 12 doubles, 2 triples, 1 home run, 17 RBI and 17 stolen bases in 91 games over 3 stints with the D-backs... Established a club record with 22 HBP, surpassing Justin Upton's previous mark set in 2011 (19)…22 HBP ranked fourth in the NL and were tied for fourth most by a rookie in baseball history (also: Charlie Babb/NYG in 1903)...Tied for second among all rookies in stolen bases (also: Jon Berti/MIA)...Was the first rookie in the Majors with a 100.0 pct. stolen base pct. Spent the majority of the season with Triple-A Oklahoma City and hit .279 AVG/.389 OBP/.409 SLG with 23 doubles, 2 triples, 4 home runs, 25 RBI and 18 stolen bases...Played 18 games with Dodgers, going 2-for-11 (.182) with 4 stolen bases...On the disabled list from June 7-July 12 with a right hip impingement… made 6 rehab appearances with Rookie AZL Dodgers.

2017

Saw his first big league action, appearing in three games with the Dodgers and going 0-for-1 with a stolen base...appeared in two games in left field...Had his contract selected from Triple-A Oklahoma City on Sept. 29 and made his Major League debut that day against the Rockies as a pinch-runner and a defensive replacement...Split the season with Double-A Tulsa (96 games) and Triple-A Oklahoma City (31 games) posting a .308/.383/.454 slashline with 31 doubles, four triple, 10 home runs, 40 RBI and 34 stolen bases in 127 combined games...Split time between the infield and the outfield, playing in a combined 47 games in center field, 46 games at second base, 31 games at shortstop, nine games in left field and two games in right field...With Tulsa, he was selected to the Texas League Mid-Season All-Star team and finished the season among the league leaders in stolen bases (22, 5th), triples (4, T-7th), OPS (.795, 7th), on-base percentage (.366, T-9th), runs scored (69, 8th) and batting average (.285, 11th).

2016

Appeared in 131 combined games with Single-A Rancho Cucamonga (86 games) and Double-A Tulsa (45 games), hitting .285 with 25 doubles, six triple, six home runs, 52 RBI, 24 stolen bases and a .341 on-base percentage...chosen by MiLB.com as a Dodgers Organizational All-Star...Appeared majority of the games in the infield, playing in 61 combined games at second base, 57 games at shortstop and three games at first base, but did see time in the outfield as well, playing six games in center field and one game in left field...Following the season, played for the Glendale Desert Dogs in the Arizona Fall League, where he posted .303/.351/.303 slashline with five runs and six RBI in 13 games.

2015

Split the season between Toronto's Single-A Lansing and Los Angeles' Single-A Rancho Cucamonga, hitting .276 with 19 doubles, three triples, six home runs, 39 RBI and 41 stolen bases along with a .37 7 on-base percentage in 111 combined games...Began the season with Lansing, posting a .310/.409/.421 slashline with 10 doubles, one triple, five homers, 25 RBI and 30 stolen bases...Acquired by the Dodgers along with RHP Chase De Jong for three international signing slots on July 2.

2014

Hit .313 with 49 runs, 11 doubles, one homer, 27 RBI and 32 stolen bases in 67 games with Toronto's Single-A Vancouver...chosen by MiLB.com as a Blue Jays Organizational All-Star...Selected as a Northwest League Mid-Season All-Star and also finished the season ranked among the league leaders in stolen bases (2nd), runs (5th), on-base percentage (.407, 6th), hits (80, 7th) and batting average (8th).

2013

In his first professional season, hit .283 with 28 runs, five doubles, three triples, one homer, 13 RBI and 12 stolen bases in 43 games with Rookie-Level Bluefield.
