His father, Phil Nevin, was a 12-year MLB veteran, playing for Houston (1995), Detroit (1995-97), Anaheim (1998), Texas (2005-06), Chicago-NL (2006) and Minnesota (2006) and is currently the third base coach for the New York Yankees...Brother, Kyle, plays baseball at Baylor University (TX).

Acquired by the Orioles from the Colorado Rockies on 8/30...Spent the beginning of the season at the Rockies Alternate Training Site.

2019

Appeared in a career-high 130 games with Double-A Hartford ... Named the Eastern League Player of the Month for August … led all Eastern League players in home runs (eight), RBI (24), slugging percentage (.609), OPS (.972), extra-base hits (19) and total bases (67), and tied for the league lead in doubles (11) ... Batted .269 (50-for-186) with nine home runs in 52 games in the second half ... Added to the 40-man roster on Nov. 20.

2018

Batted .328 (124-for-378) with High-A Lancaster, the second-highest average in the league ... Batted .359 (85-for-237) with 17 doubles, nine home runs, 44 RBI and 26 walks in the second half of the season ... Named to the 2018 All-Arizona Fall League Team … led the AFL in hitting (.426), on-base percentage (.535), slugging (.593) and OPS (1.128) … began the AFL season with a 10-game hitting streak … the AFL's only .400 hitter, also finished third in the league with 20 RBI.

2017

Spent much of the season with Low-A Asheville, other than a brief rehab stint with Short-Season Boise ... Named the South Atlantic League Player of the Month for August, after batting .379 (44-for-116) with 10doubles, three triples, one home run and 23 RBI in 29 games … also named the SAL Player of the Week, Aug. 21-27, after batting .500 with six doubles in eight games.

Missed a majority of the season with a hamstring injury.

Rookie Level Grand Junction's starting third baseman in his first professional season ... Batted .265 (50-for-189) in 53 games … recorded 15 doubles, which ranked second-most on the team.
