Arlington, Texas - The Texas Rangers announced this afternoon that the club has agreed to terms with right-handed pitcher Neftali Feliz on a one-year contract for the 2015 season. No further terms were disclosed.

Feliz had been eligible for salary arbitration. With this agreement, left-handed pitcher Ross Detwiler and infielder/designated hitter Mitch Moreland are the only remaining Rangers eligible for salary arbitration.

Feliz spent the final two months of the 2014 season with the Rangers, going 2-1 with 13 saves and a 1.99 ERA (7 ER/31.2 IP) in 30 relief appearances. He ranked 2nd on the staff in saves and games finished (22). Feliz ranks 4th in Rangers history in saves (87) and his .179 career opponents batting average is the lowest in club history among pitchers with at least 200.0 innings.
