With velocity like we’ve never seen before, Brewers right-hander Jacob Misiorowski is the current favorite for the 2026 National League Cy Young Award.
Just don’t ask him to play ping-pong.

Facing off with a youngster in table tennis before the Brewers' 4-2 loss to the Braves in Sunday’s Little League Classic in Williamsport, Pa., Misiorowski admitted the pressure was on. Asked to pick between the pressure of a full stadium or the friendly ping-pong game with dozens of Little Leaguers looking on, the All-Star righty didn’t hesitate.
“This,” he said. “100 percent.”
Perhaps surprisingly, Misiorowski did not emerge victorious in the clash. Although the Milwaukee superstar miiiight have been taking it easy on his young foe, it’s not often that we see something Misiorowski can’t do.
