ANGELS ANNOUNCE JO ADELL HOME RUN ROBBERY BOBBLEHEAD GIVEAWAY

ANAHEIM – The Angels announced today the addition of a Jo Adell Home Run Robbery Bobblehead to the 2026 promotional schedule for the for the first 25,000 fans in attendance at the game on Wednesday, September 16 vs. Seattle.

On April 4, Adell made baseball history, when he robbed the Mariners of three would-be home runs over the course of the game, which the Angels won by a 1-0 score. He took away homers from Cal Raleigh in the first inning, Josh Naylor in the eighth inning and J.P. Crawford in the ninth inning. An official look at the bobblehead, which will depict Adell after his third home run robbery of the night when he leapt over the wall in the right field corner of Angel Stadium and ultimately stood among the crowd with his left arm raised above his head to show that he made the historic catch, will be unveiled at a later date.

Adell was recognized by Major League Baseball for making the “Play of the Week” for March 30 – April 5. Additionally, Adell’s glove from the game is being donated to the National Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, NY.

Per Sports Info Solutions, Adell was the first player to rob three home runs in one game since tracking began in 2004. Additionally, no teams had ever robbed three homers in a game in that span. According to Inside Edge, the outfielders with the most HR robberies in the entire 2025 season each had four (Washington's Jacob Young and San Diego's Fernando Tatis).
