ANGELS HOST 2026 HOME OPENER

April 2nd, 2026

The Angels host their first homestand of the year from April 3 – April 8. The homestand will begin with a three-game series against the Mariners and conclude with a three-game set against the Braves. Pregame festivities will begin with the Home Opener Red Carpet Event in front of the ballpark at the Home Plate Gate at 12:30 p.m. on Friday. This special event, which is open to the public, will feature player and alumni appearances, food trucks, games, a DJ booth, Angels Strike Force, and more. Fans can tune in to AM830 or the AM830 app to listen to Roger Lodge and Trent Rush broadcasting live throughout the event.

In-stadium ceremonies will feature player introductions and the Presentation of Colors by the United States Marine Corps Color Guard. Additionally, 150 active and veteran local military service members will unfurl a 300-foot American flag while Alexandra Castle performs the National Anthem. During the anthems on April 3 and April 4, a military flyover will be performed by the Condor Squadron out of Van Nuys, CA, piloting five North American AT-6 “Texan” aircrafts.

Concluding the on-field celebrations on April 3, Angels Senior Vice President, Finance & Administration Molly Jolly will ceremonially deliver the game ball and Angels President John Carpino will throw the ceremonial first pitch prior to the game. Jolly will be promoted to Club President, effective April 6, and enters her 26th season with the Angels organization in 2026. Carpino will complete his tenure as Angels President on April 6, and will remain with the Club for an extended period to assist with key projects.

Below is a look at the notable events and ceremonies taking place at Angel Stadium over the next six days.

HOME OPENER RED CARPET EVENT

  • On Friday, April 3, the Angels will host a free-to-the-public Home Opener Red Carpet Event from 12:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Home Plate Gate. The event will feature player and alumni appearances, food trucks, games, a DJ booth and more to kick off the new season. There will also be giveaways including autographed items and ticket vouchers, as well as a mini red carpet and photo opportunities for guests.

CEREMONIAL FIRST PITCHES

  • On Friday, April 3, Angels Senior Vice President, Finance & Administration Molly Jolly will ceremonially deliver the game ball and Angels President John Carpino will throw the ceremonial first pitch prior to the game. SATURDAY NIGHT FIREWORKS

  • Fans in attendance of the Saturday night game on April 4 will be treated to a postgame firework show driven by your SoCal Hyundai Dealers.

EASTER SUNDAY

  • On Sunday, April 5, the Angels will celebrate Easter at Angel Stadium. Prior to the game, the Easter Bunny will be in the Angel Stadium Rose Garden from 11:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. to meet and take photos with fans.

GIVEAWAYS

  • Upon entrance to the games on April 3 and April 4, the first 25,000 fans in attendance will receive an Angels Wall Calendar courtesy of SoCalGas.
  • Upon entrance to the game on April 7, the first 25,000 fans in attendance will receive a Mike Trout 400th Home Run Bobblehead courtesy of Nitto Tire.

IN THE COMMUNITY

  • On Tuesday, April 7, Jack Kochanowicz will visit students at Gauer Elementary School in Anaheim as part of the Angels Adopt-A-School program.
  • Following the homestand, the Angels will host a youth baseball and softball event at Lehigh Elementary in Montclair on Friday, April 10.
