ANAHEIM – Today, the Angels announced the Club’s 2023 Opening Day roster. To set the roster at 26 active players, yesterday, the Angels made the following transactions:

• Selected the contract of INF Jake Lamb
• Placed C Max Stassi (left hip strain) & INF Jared Walsh (headaches & insomnia) on 10-day injured list (retro to March 27)
• Placed RHP Chris Rodriguez (right shoulder surgery in 2021) & RHP Griffin Canning (left groin strain) on 15-day injured list (retro to March 27)
• Placed RHP José Marte (right elbow stress reaction) on 60-day injured list

The Angels begin the 2023 regular season tonight (March 30) against the Oakland Athletics at the Oakland Coliseum.
