George Wolkow just had the best two days of his young career.
After finishing a double shy of the cycle on Tuesday, the White Sox No. 14 prospect tallied three more hits on Wednesday in a 19-8 win for High-A Winston-Salem over Greensboro at First National Bank Field.
Wolkow was 3-for-5 Wednesday with two doubles, a triple and a walk, driving in a career-high six RBIs. He now has five multi-hit performances in his past eight games, with 20 RBIs in May.
After walking in the first inning, Wolkow recorded his first double in the top of the third, a sharp line drive over the left fielder’s head to score two. The hulking lefty then returned to the plate in the same inning, driving a three-run triple off the wall in right-center field, just shy of a grand slam. It made for an 11(!)-run inning for the Drive.

Wolkow then finished his night just shy of a homer once again in the seventh, doubling with one hop off of the right-field wall and plating his sixth run of the night.
A 2023 seventh-rounder out of high school, the 20-year-old Wolkow is known for his 60-grade power. This hot stretch now has the outfielder slashing .243/.327/.444 with six home runs in 2026.
