2025

Brett spent the entire 2025 season at Double-A Knoxville, hitting .261 (86-for-329) with two home runs and 33 RBI in 94 games...Tallied seven games with three hits and three games with three RBI...Had a season-high nine-game hit streak from Aug. 28-Sept. 6...In August, hit .313 (26-for-83) with a home run and 19 RBI.

2024

Brett in 2024 reached Double-A for the first time in his career, splitting the season between South Bend (79 games) and Knoxville (28 games) hitting .272 (110-for-405)…Recorded career-highs in doubles (12), triples (3), RBI (30) and stolen bases (30)...April 5 recorded a career-high three stolen bases...On May 5 recorded a three-hit, two stolen base performance, the three hits tied a season-high...Spent time on the injured list from June 4-11...At the time of his promotion to Double-A Knoxville, Bateman led all Smokies in walks (56), was tied for the lead in stolen bases (22) and ranked fourth in OBP (.401)...Recorded a career-high four walks on Aug. 4 against the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers...After his promotion to Knoxville in his 28 games, Bateman was tied for the most stolen bases with eight and ranked second in runs scored. 

2023

Made his professional debut in 2023, appearing in 32 games across rookie ball (three games) and Single-A Myrtle Beach (29 games)…Finished the campaign with a .298 (31-for-104) batting average, 23 runs scored, 16 RBI and 24 walks while ranking second in OBP (.431) and fourth in batting average (.298) among Myrtle Beach hitters...Was drafted out of the University of Minnesota in the eighth round of the draft.
