2017 Cubs Postseason Ticket Purchase Opportunity Timeline
2017 Cubs Postseason Ticket Purchase Opportunity Terms and Conditions
In order to be eligible ("Eligible Registrants") for this chance to purchase a limited number of select face value postseason tickets: (1) you must be 18 years of age or older and a legal resident of one of the 50 United States at the time of entry; (2) you must complete and submit the registration form located above during the Registration Period; (3) you must submit a refundable $50 deposit (the "Deposit"); and (4) Eligible Registrants do not include any person who deemed not in good standing with Cubs (as defined below) or has, for any reason, ever been denied entry to Wrigley Field for an entire season, had a season ticket license revoked, or had a season ticket license not renewed by Chicago Cubs Baseball Club, LLC (the "Cubs"). Registration for the chance to purchase a limited number of select face value tickets to Postseason Series (if any) played by the Chicago Cubs at Wrigley Field will begin at noon CDT Wednesday, September 13, 2017, and end on the date(s) set forth for each applicable Postseason Series on the Registration Schedule below (the "Registration Period"). The Cubs will conduct a random drawing(s) from among all Eligible Registrants. Eligible Registrants selected in the random drawing(s) (each, a "Drawing Winner" and collectively, the "Drawing Winners") will receive the chance to purchase tickets to the National League Wild Card Game ("NLWCG"), Cubs home games during the National League Division Series ("NLDS"), Cubs home games during the National League Championship Series "NLCS") and/or Cubs home games during the World Series ("WS") which may be played at Wrigley Field (each, a "Postseason Series"). Tickets will be available to Drawing Winners on a first-come, first-served basis only while tickets remain. Being selected in a drawing does not guarantee the opportunity to purchase ticket(s) to any Postseason game. Exact date, times, ticket limits and instructions for ticket purchase for each applicable Postseason game will be communicated by email on dates selected by the Chicago Cubs to each Drawing Winner via the email address submitted on the registration form. All ticket purchases are subject to the terms thereon. If a Drawing Winner does not provide a valid email address or follow the instructions in the email(s), he or she will forfeit the chance to purchase tickets through this offer. There is no obligation for a Drawing Winner to buy a ticket. If a Drawing Winner declines the opportunity to purchase a ticket, the Deposit will be refunded as set forth in the following paragraph. There is no assurance that any particular Eligible Registrant will be selected. The likelihood of receiving the opportunity to purchase tickets depends on the number of eligible registrations received. This opportunity is void where prohibited and to all ineligible registrants.
Eligible Registrants not selected as Drawing Winners and Eligible Registrants who decline the opportunity to purchase ticket(s) will have their Deposit refunded to the original form of payment within four weeks of the end of the 2017 MLB postseason.
If applicable, a random drawing for the chance to purchase tickets to the 2017 NLWCG and the NLDS at Wrigley Field will be held on a date to be determined. Winners for NLCS and WS drawings will be selected at later dates from Eligible Registrants and notified via email with instructions on the ticket purchase process including dates and times for these sales. Tickets purchased may not be used for any promotional purposes whatsoever. Registrations have no cash redemptions or substitutions.
PLEASE NOTE: If you are selected as a Drawing Winner but the Cubs do not play in the applicable Postseason Series, you will not be offered the opportunity to purchase Postseason tickets, and your Deposit will be refunded as set forth above. If you purchase ticket(s) to a game that is subsequently determined to be unnecessary for that Postseason Series, you will be refunded (see below for details).
In the case of multiple entries and/or deposits for the same individual, all entries received will be void. Only one entry and/or deposit will be allowed per credit card, email and/or household. Fans randomly selected will need to purchase ticket(s) using the same MLB.com/Cubs.com account they used when registering for the opportunity. Only entries submitted to the Cubs during the Registration Period will be entered in the random drawing(s). Entries generated by a script, macro, or other mechanical or automated means will not be valid.
