Valenzuela to help out with toy giveaway

Dodgers legendary pitcher and current Spanish-language broadcaster Fernando Valenzuela will present toys to children Wednesday as part of El Centro Del Pueblo's 30th Annual Holiday Toy Giveaway.

Valenzuela and state Sen. Kevin de Leon will be giving toys to more than 3,000 children in the central Los Angeles area at El Centro Del Pueblo from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. PT.

El Centro Del Pueblo provides social services in an effort to improve the quality of life for youth and families of Echo Park and the city of Los Angeles. El Centro Del Pueblo identifies families and children for whom it can make a difference in their lives during the holiday season.
