Dodgers release 34-game spring schedule

LOS ANGELES -- The Dodgers on Monday announced their 2013 Spring Training schedule, which opens Saturday, Feb. 23, against the Chicago White Sox at their shared Camelback Ranch-Glendale complex and closes with a three-game Freeway Series against the Angels in Southern California.

The Freeway Series will have games in Anaheim on Thursday, March 28, and Saturday, March 30, at times to be determined, sandwiched around a night game at Dodger Stadium on March 29.

Pitchers and catchers report on Feb. 12 and the first full-squad workout is scheduled for Feb. 16.

The 34-game schedule features three off-days and at least seven night games -- March 8 (vs. Cincinnati); March 12 (at Cincinnati-Goodyear); March 15 (vs. Kansas City); March 23 (vs. White Sox); March 25 (at Kansas City-Surprise); March 26 (vs. Colorado); March 29 (vs. Angels at Dodger Stadium).

The Dodgers will play a pair of games with split-squads on four days, including March 6, when one of the games will be in Glendale, Ariz., against Team Mexico, which will be tuning up for the World Baseball Classic.

Season tickets, mini plans, group tickets and suites are all available now at www.dodgers.com/spring or by calling (623) 302-5000. Spring Training single-game tickets go on sale on Monday, Jan. 7.
