Dodgers Probable Pitchers

After injuries prevented him from pitching on Opening Day in each of the last two seasons, Kershaw will make his ninth Opening Day start, the most in franchise history. Kershaw struggled this spring, posting a 10.22 ERA in four starts. The left-hander allowed one run over seven innings in his lone start at Coors Field last season.

Last time he faced the Dodgers, Márquez went seven innings and struck out five while giving up two runs and five hits in a Rockies win Sept. 5 at Dodger Stadium. He has a 2.54 ERA in nine games vs. the Dodgers.

Bauer, who signed a three-year, $102 million deal this offseason, will make his first start as a member of the Dodgers. Bauer is coming off the best season of his career, which was capped off with a National League Cy Young Award.

Last season, Senzatela had one rough game (six runs, seven hits, four homers in 5 1/3 innings) and two good ones (11 2/3 innings, three runs on 10 hits) in his three starts against the Dodgers.

The Dodgers have three former Cy Young Award winners on the roster, but most people believe Buehler has the chance to win one in ‘21. That quest will begin on Saturday against the Rockies. Buehler went 1-0 with a 3.44 ERA in eight starts last season.

Gray has a solid history against the Dodgers at Coors Field. In nine home starts, Gray is 4-1 with a 3.48 ERA and has held L.A. to a .249 batting average and a .413 slugging percentage.

The last time Urías took the mound for the Dodgers, he was closing out Game 6 of the World Series against the Rays. Now, the 24-year-old is expected to be a mainstay in the Dodgers’ starting rotation.

Acquired from the Cardinals in the Nolan Arenado trade, Gomber's one experience at Coors Field was a nice memory: six innings, two runs (one earned), five hits, six strikeouts in a win on Aug. 26, 2018.

Following a strong spring, May beat out David Price and Tony Gonsolin for the fifth spot in the Dodgers’ rotation. May went 3-1 with a 2.57 ERA in 12 appearances (10 starts) last season.

Montas lost his feel for the splitter last season -- the pitch that led his breakout 2019 campaign -- and he finished with a 5.60 ERA in 11 starts. After focusing on regaining the split this spring, Montas will look to inch closer to his '19 numbers, which saw him go 9-3 with a 2.63 ERA.
