Indians activate OF Michael Bourn from 15-day DL

CLEVELAND, OH - The Cleveland Indians today announced the following roster moves relative to the Major League roster:

Activated OF MICHAEL BOURN from the 15-day DL

Optioned LHP SCOTT BARNES to AAA Columbus.

Bourn has been on the disabled list since April 15 after suffering a lacerated right index finger against the Chicago White Sox the day before. Bourn spent two days (May 7-8) rehabbing with AAA Columbus and so far this season he is hitting .333 (14-45) with 7 runs scored, 4 2B, 1 3B, 2HR & 2RBI in 10 games (.975OPS).
