Where are the London Series 2024 games taking place?
Both games will take place at London Stadium within Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in Stratford, East London, UK, E20 2ST.

When do the games take place?
There are two games in the MLB World Tour: London Series 2024.
The first game is on Saturday June 8, 2024
The second game is on Sunday June 9, 2024

Who is playing?
New York Mets and Philadelphia Phillies are playing a two-game series. New York Mets will be the home team on Saturday and Philadelphia Phillies will be the home team on Sunday.

Is baseball a family friendly event?
Yes, the MLB World Tour: London Series is an inclusive event for all ages. Children's tickets can be purchased for Children under 16 on the day of the game, dependent on availability. Any ticket holder under 16 years of age must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 years of age or over.

Anyone entering the venue must be in possession of a valid ticket regardless of age; there are no 'babes in arms' or 'lap tickets'.

How long does a baseball game last?
In 2023, the average baseball game lasted around two and a half hours, though there is no time limit as it is not dictated by a clock. Teams alternate between batting and fielding across nine innings. If the game is tied after nine innings, the game will continue until a winner emerges.

When do tickets go on sale?
Fans that have pre-registered on the MLB World Tour: London Series website will have access to the weekend tickets Pre-Sale at 12.00pm GMT (7.00am EST) on Wednesday November 22 2023 until 5.00pm GMT (12.00pm EST) on Friday November 24 2023. Pre-registered fans will be able to purchase weekend tickets, giving you the same seat for both games.

From 12.00pm GMT (7.00am EST) on Monday November 27 2023 until 5.00pm GMT (12.00pm EST) on Friday December 1 2023, pre-registered fans will be able to purchase tickets for a single game (either the Saturday or Sunday game).

What is the cut-off for registration ahead of each pre-sale closing to buy tickets?
For weekend tickets, registration will need to be completed by 12:00pm GMT (7:00am EST) on Friday November 24, 2023. For day tickets, registration must be completed by 12:00pm GMT (7:00am EST) on Friday December 1, 2023.

What is a weekend ticket?
A ticket to both games in the Series, securing you the same seat in the stands on both Saturday and Sunday.

How will I be informed of ticket availability?
Pre-registered fans will receive an email on Wednesday November 22 2023 for weekend tickets and Friday December 1 2023 for single day tickets with a unique link and instructions on how to purchase tickets. The link is unique specifically for pre-registered fans and should not be shared.

How many tickets will I be able to order?
Using your unique link, pre-registered fans can purchase up to 10 weekend tickets or 10 tickets to the Saturday and/or 10 tickets for the Sunday game.

Check your junk email folder for an email from MLB.com.


When do tickets go on sale for Club Season Ticket Holders?
Season Ticket Holders at the two clubs playing had access to tickets before they went on General Sale.

  • From 10.00am EST (3.00pm GMT) on Tuesday November 28 2023 until 12.00pm EST (5:00pm GMT) on Thursday November 30 2023. Club Season Ticket Holders will be able to purchase weekend tickets, giving you the same seat for both games.
  • From 10.00am EST (3.00pm GMT) on Friday December 1 2023 until 12.00pm EST (5.00pm GMT) on Monday December 4 2023, Club Season Ticket Holders will be able to purchase tickets for a single game (either the Saturday or Sunday game).

How will I be informed of ticket availability?
Club Season Ticket Holders will receive an email on the morning of each Pre-Sale with a unique link and instructions on how to purchase your ticket(s). The link is unique for Season Ticket Holders and should not be shared.

How many tickets will I be able to order?
Using your unique link, Club Season Ticket Holders can purchase up to 10 weekend tickets or 10 tickets to the Saturday and/or 10 tickets for the Sunday game.

Are there Mets or Phillies team-specific seating sections?
Mets will be occupying the dugout along the first base line. Tickets for Mets’ Season Ticket Holders will be allocated in sections on this side of the ballpark.

Phillies will be occupying the dugout along the third base line. Tickets for Phillies’ Season Ticket Holders will be allocated in sections on this side of the ballpark.


When do tickets go on sale?
General Sale opens at 10.00am GMT (5.00am EST) on Friday December 8, 2023. For more information click here.

How many tickets will I be able to order?
General Sale will allow a maximum of 10 tickets to be purchased online per person, per game.


Can I make a group booking?
If you wish to make a booking for 11 or more tickets, this is classed as a group booking and there is a different process. Please email [email protected] to enquire on options and/or availability; or submit a booking request by completing Group Tickets Booking Form online here. Please include number of tickets, price category, preferred sections and a contact telephone number. A member of the team will be in contact within three working days to discuss options (subject to availability).


How do I purchase tickets?
To complete your purchase, you will need to have an account with ticketmaster.co.uk. Existing ticketmaster.com accounts cannot be used. You can set up an account at ticketmaster.co.uk/member now, this will save you time at check out.

How much will the tickets cost?
Tickets will vary in price depending on where you choose to sit. Single tickets start from £19.50 for children and £39 for adults. A quantity of children's tickets are available in Category 6 and Category 7; in other price categories, children will be required to purchase a full price ticket. These face value prices are subject to service and handling charges.

What are the additional charges and fees?
Service and handling charges are levied by the ticketing agent to cover the costs of their platform, people, service and booking process. These charges are in line with other major sporting and entertainment events.

Is there any information that might help me decide where I should sit?
New York Mets will be occupying the dugout along the first base line, to the right of home plate. Philadelphia Phillies will be occupying the dugout along the third base line, to the left of home plate.

What is a Partially Restricted View seat (PRV)?
A partially restricted view means that you may be unable to see the entire field of play from that seat. You'll have either an incomplete view because of the position of the seats, or something may be in your line of sight. However, your view will never be completely impeded and you will always be able to see the batter on home plate and all the bases. A partially restricted view (PRV) seat will be clearly indicated when going through the purchasing process and sold at a discount to the surrounding seats with unrestricted views.

What is a Collector Ticket?
A Collector Ticket is a collectable ticket with an exclusive MLB World Tour: London Series 2024 design. It's a credit card-sized ticket to be used as a memento which will be sent after the event.

How will I receive my ticket(s)?

Ticketmaster
You will receive electronic / mobile tickets through the Ticketmaster App or website-based Ticketmaster account, approximately 10 – 14 days before the event. There are no additional charges for electronic / mobile tickets.
If you buy a Collector Ticket you will receive these in the mail approximately one month after the event. You will still gain access to the event with an electronic / mobile ticket. Please note that Collector Tickets will incur an additional charge which will be added to your bill prior to buying your tickets on ticketmaster.co.uk.

London Stadium
You will receive digital tickets no later than 5 days before the event via TX.IS https://tx.is/ with instructions on how to claim your downloadable tickets. Please add [email protected] to your Safe Senders list and look out for the email.

When will I receive my ticket(s)?

Ticketmaster
You will receive an email to confirm your ticket purchase immediately, and the ticket(s) will be sent available to access approximately 10 to 14 days before the event.

London Stadium
You will receive an email to confirm your ticket purchase immediately, and the ticket(s) will be sent to you no later than 5 days before the event.

Can I upgrade my game ticket to include hospitality?
A single game ticket cannot be upgraded to include hospitality. However, hospitality packages are available for you to purchase from here.

How do I purchase a ticket for wheelchair user and ambulant disability access?
Fans who require wheelchair user and ambulant disability access can book online through Ticketmaster UK. There will be provision for those requiring assistance to be supported by a helper / carer who would receive a complimentary ticket. Please note that proof of this requirement may be required.

Is there an age restriction for the MLB World Tour: London Series 2024?
Fans of all ages are welcome. However, under 16s must be accompanied at all times by an adult aged 18 or over.

Are there children’s tickets available?
Fans under the age of 16 on the day of the game may be eligible for a children’s ticket. A quantity of children’s tickets are available in Category 6 and Category 7; in other price categories, children will be required to purchase a full price ticket. Anyone entering the venue must be in possession of a valid ticket regardless of age; there are no ‘babes in arms’ or ‘lap’ tickets.

There are some seats which have a rail in front of them (Blocks: 218, 219, 220, 221, 222 and 223) which may result in a partially restricted view for children; these seats will be highlighted on the Ticketmaster platform. Please search for seats elsewhere in the stadium if this is a concern.


What time can I enter the stadium?
London Stadium will open around three hours before the first pitch, so that's 3.00pm BST (local London time) on Saturday June 8 2024 and 12.00pm BST (local London time) on Sunday June 9 2024. Entertainment, food and beverages will be on offer throughout the day.

Is there parking available?
There will be no general parking at the stadium. We recommend all ticket holders use public transport. However, there will be limited parking for Blue (disability) Badge holders. Blue Badge parking passes can be purchased through London Stadium’s website. The exact location, directions and opening hours of the Blue Badge parking area will be confirmed in due course. Customers purchasing Blue Bade parking will be contacted closer to the event, to gather details such as car registration number, etc. Please add [email protected] to your safe senders list.

Is there additional support for people with disabilities?

Can I bring a pram/stroller?
Strollers and prams may be brought and stored at the venue. Scooters, skateboards and any other transport favoured by our youngest fans are not permitted at London Stadium. For locations of where you can store prams click here.

Can I bring a bag into London Stadium?
Yes, however no bags larger than A4 paper in length and width (297mm maximum dimension) are permitted.

Will there be alcohol on sale?
The event is fully licensed and both non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages will be on sale. Responsible drinking is always encouraged.

Can I bring food and beverage into the ballpark?
Ticket holders may not bring food and beverage into the ballpark unless there are proven medical grounds for doing so. However, a wide range of food and beverage options will be available inside the ballpark. You will be allowed to bring empty plastic or metal bottles of any size with the tops removed, unless indicated otherwise, to use at the refill points inside the Venue, however metal bottles are not permitted.

We have a variety of exciting roles available, once you have registered you will be able to log into your account and read through a detailed description of each role. A brief overview of roles include:

What is the volunteer timeline?

Do I need any experience?
No, just your enthusiasm. Full training will be given in each role. However, some roles can be quite specialised and some previous relevant experience is preferred so be sure to highlight this in your application.

What is the application process?
Follow the link on the main volunteer page to register. As part of the registration, you will be asked to include information on things such as; previous volunteering experience; hobbies; interests; baseball knowledge etc., anything you think that supports for application for your chosen role. Once applications close, we will review applications and let you know if you have been successful.

For some Team Leader roles you may be invited to an informal interview to discuss the role in more detail.

I volunteered in 2023, do I still need to apply?
Any MLB Diamonds from 2023 who told us they would like to return to volunteer in 2024 will have received an email from us with instructions. If you haven't received any communication then you can still register when applications open on 24 January. You WILL need to re-register. Be sure to make sure you select the boxes to say you volunteered in 2023, and make sure you update your profile with information about your role in 2023.

I have registered, but can I change the role preference I have selected, and any of my details?
Yes, you can go back to any of the answers you selected at registration and update them up until the closing date for applications on 28 February 2024. You can also update the information about yourself and your experience, we will be reviewing all applications and will assign you into a role based on your experience, and your preference.

Will I be guaranteed my preferred volunteer role?
We can not guarantee any roles at this stage, however we will do everything we can to place you in a role that we feel is suitable and enjoyable based on information provided in your application.

When will I find out if I've been successful?
Once applications have closed on 28 February 2024 we will review all applications and over the following weeks we will allocate roles based on the information you have provided us with. Once we have finished allocating roles we will be back in touch, this may take up to 4 weeks.

What happens if I haven't been successful?
We appreciate everyone who registers their interest to volunteer with us. As much as we would love to offer the opportunity to each and every application this may not be possible.

For some roles we only have a handful of volunteer opportunities available. If you are not successful initially, we may ask if you would be happy to join our reserve list, or offer you a place within a different team. As our planning progresses, we may have more opportunities become available so its not the end of the line. However we understand this may not suit everyone.

I live outside the UK am I eligible to volunteer?
The volunteering opportunity is open to everyone that has the right to work in the UK. It is your responsibility to check the conditions of your visa. If you are unsure, we would advise you to please check on the UK government website https://www.gov.uk/standard-visitor. Please note that the event is not a registered charity so a UK Tourist Visa would not be permitted.

How old do I have to do to volunteer?
Our minimum age for volunteers is 18 years old. There is no upper age limit!

How many days do you need to volunteer for?
Team Leaders will be required on three dates, Friday 7th June, Saturday 8th June and Sunday 9th June 2024.

Team Members will be required on both Saturday 8th June and Sunday 9th June, with an opportunity to also complete a shift on Friday 7th June 2024.

How long are the volunteer shifts?
The average shift time is 8 hours. Shift times for each role can be seen on the Role Descriptions when you log into your registered account.

I am buying tickets to the game, can I still volunteer?
If your allocated volunteering shift does not clash with the game time then you can still volunteer. Shift times for each role can be seen on the Role Descriptions when you log into your registered account.

What will I receive for volunteering?
We will introduce you to how the event works, your role in it and provide any training you need. We will provide you with a uniform, refreshments, meals and a welfare area whilst you are part of our team.

Do I need to complete any training?
All volunteers must attend one training session held at London Stadium. Training sessions will take place on Friday 19th April, Saturday 20th April and Sunday 21st April 2024.

I volunteered in 2023, do I still need to attend training?
Yes, as there will be new exciting changes for 2024. However, there will be a training session which will be for returning volunteers only. Keep an eye out for the date and time.

Will travel expenses be covered?
No, we won't be able to cover your travel expenses but we will provide you with a uniform, refreshments, meals and a welfare area whilst you are part of our team.

Will accommodation be included?
No, you must make your own arrangements for accommodation if required.

As a disabled person, what support will you offer?
Please let us know your individual circumstances and we'll do what we can to ensure you have everything you need to enjoy a volunteering role with us.

As a volunteer will I get discounted or free tickets to the event?
Unfortunately not. Although you won't be entitled to any special discount, if you are successful in gaining a volunteer position you will have a key role in this fantastic event!

Can I apply if I'm on benefits?
Yes. You can volunteer for as many hours as you wish and still claim benefits if you continue to meet the conditions of the benefit you receive. If you have any concerns please speak directly to your Department for Work and Pensions office.
