Marlins Small Business Venture Program

Given the events of the last year, the Miami Marlins and CITY Furniture are proud to shine a light on local South Florida businesses. Through the Small Business Program, the Marlins and City Furniture will recognize three local small businesses by elevating their marketing presence through Marlins owned promotional opportunities:

  • Offer small businesses an extension of Marlins Assets that would garner exposure in ballpark and through game telecasts
  • Three businesses will be selected, each receiving one month of exposure
  • Businesses to receive:
    • One half-inning of home plate rotational signage during four (4) games a month – total of twelve (12) half-innings
    • LED signage in every game throughout the month
    • Press Release about the program
    • Showcase representative from each business on Marlins Radio with an interview with Radio Host that is aired pre-game and plugged in-game
    • Interview can also live on Marlins LinkedIn Channels
  • All applicants must complete an application
    • Applications that are incomplete or unsigned will not be accepted
  • Applicants must be legally registered to do business in Florida as a for-profit organization with the State of Florida Division of Corporation for at least one year and be in good standing.
  • Business must have an actual location in Broward, Miami-Dade, Monroe or Palm Beach County.
    • Home based business requires an owner to reside at the location, which must be in Broward, Miami-Dade, Monroe or Palm Beach County.
  • Be owned and managed by a resident(s) of Florida.
  • Have 200 or fewer full-time permanent employees.
  • Business 3 Years average gross receipt not to exceed $5 million
  • Business owner(s) Personal Financial (net worth) Statement cannot exceed $1,500,000 for each owner
