Marlins to host Boston Red Sox for two-game homestand

The Miami Marlins return home for a brief two-game homestand against the Boston Red Sox, beginning on Tuesday, August 11. The Marlins return home following a four-game road trip to Atlanta. The Red Sox are making their first trip to South Florida since June 11-13, 2012.

The Marlins will hold a flash sale for the two-game series against Boston. Fans can purchase specially-priced $25 tickets for the Interleague match-up, choosing from Vista Level seating for Tuesday, August 11 or Home Run Porch seating on Wednesday, August 12. Each ticket includes $10 of added value to use on concessions and merchandise throughout the ballpark. Credit is stored directly on the ticket and can be redeemed at Marlins Park concession stands and the Marlins Park Team Store. Credit is only available on the day stated on the ticket.

In addition, the homestand features two giveaways. On Tuesday, the first 10,000 fans will receive an Ichiro Suzuki T-shirt courtesy of SATO Pharmaceuticals. Then on Wednesday, the first 10,000 fans will receive a Marlins Franchise Four poster courtesy of **CASH and 123 Lump Sum. Also on Wednesday, the Marlins' Franchise Four of Jeff Conine, Mike Lowell, Gary Sheffield and Giancarlo Stanton will be recognized and receive a commemorative coin from Major League Baseball in an on-field ceremony. The Franchise Four, voted by the fans, was announced at the 2015 All-Star Game.

The Marlins will also host Paul Castronovo and Young Ron Brewer from the Paul & Young Ron Show from BIG 105.9 for Paul & Young Ron Day at Marlins Park. Ron will throw out the ceremonial first pitch and Paul will do the starting lineups for both teams from the Control Room. During the first through third innings, Paul & Ron will conduct a meet-and-greet with special event buyers at Bar 201. The special event package includes: a Lexus Legends Level ticket, a Paul & Young Ron T-shirt, meet-and-greet with Paul & Young Ron, and a pit pass for the postgame concert. Musician and saxophonist Alto Reed will perform "Take Me Out to the Ballgame" on-field during the seventh inning stretch. Fans can enjoy a live postgame concert on the West Plaza by Mr. Nice Guy.
