Broadcast Schedule for the 111th World Series Announced
BROADCAST SCHEDULE FOR THE 111th WORLD SERIES ANNOUNCED NL Champion Mets Will Face Either the Royals or the Blue Jays in the Fall Classic; FOX Sports Will Air the World Series for the 18th Time
Major League Baseball today announced the broadcast schedule for the 2015 World Series on FOX, set to begin on Tuesday, October 27th at either Kauffman Stadium in Kansas City or Rogers Centre in Toronto.
The American League Champions - either the Kansas City Royals, who are vying for their second consecutive AL pennant, or the Toronto Blue Jays, in contention for their first Fall Classic since 1993 - will host the National League Champion New York Mets in Tuesday's opener of the National Pastime's 111th World Series. The Royals currently lead the American League Championship Series over the Blue Jays by a 3-2 margin, with first pitch of tonight's Game Six in Kansas City set for 8:07 p.m. (ET)/7:07 p.m. (CT) on FS1.
ESPN Radio will provide complete coverage of all World Series games. MLB Network, MLB.com, MLB International and SiriusXM also will provide comprehensive coverage of the Fall Classic. The broadcast schedule for the remainder of the Postseason, subject to change, follows:
