MLBAM to Hold Breakthrough Event Tonight to Give Loyal Fans a Sneak Preview of 2012 Products

Fan Upfront ’12 a First-of-its-Kind, Direct-to-Fan Event

NEW YORK, FEBRUARY 28, 2012 – MLB Advanced Media, the interactive media and Internet company of  Major League Baseball, tonight at 6:00 p.m. (EST) is hosting a first-of-its-kind event targeted exclusively for its most loyal fans at which it will provide them a unique preview of the 2012 lineup of digital media products, including MLB.TV and MLB.com’s award-winning At Bat mobile application.

The invite-only event, titled “Fan Upfront ’12,” will give MLBAM’s long-time subscribers a first look at its platforms, devices, fantasy gaming and other offerings for the coming season, as well as a glimpse into the future. In addition to this special preview, former Major League players Frank Thomas, Jack Morris, Jeff Nelson and Mark McLemore will be among those in attendance.

Fan Upfront ’12 will be held in a refurbished, loft-like space at Chelsea Market, the epicenter of Manhattan’s Chelsea neighborhood and the same building in which MLBAM is headquartered.
