Pirates announce Saturday, May 4 game time change
Change Necessary in Order to Accommodate FOX National Television Broadcast
The Pittsburgh Pirates announced today the Saturday May 4, 2013 game vs. the Washington Nationals at PNC Park first pitch time has been moved from 7:05 p.m. ET to 4:05 p.m. ET as the tilt will now be televised nationally on FOX.
Due to the game time change, the postgame Zambelli Fireworks promotion that was scheduled for that evening has been cancelled. Fans can still take advantage of the remaining seven total postgame fireworks scheduled throughout the 2013 season, including both Skyblast nights-- presented by Iron City Brewing:
- Saturday, April 13 vs. Cincinnati Reds at 7:05 p.m.-- Fireworks presented by RE/MAX
- Saturday, June 29 vs. Milwaukee Brewers at 7:15 p.m.-- Fireworks
- Saturday, July 13 vs. New York Mets at 7:15 p.m.-- Fireworks presented by PPG Industries
- Saturday, August 3 vs. Colorado Rockies at 7:05 p.m.-- Fireworks presented by First Energy Solutions
- Saturday, August 31 vs. St. Louis Cardinals at 7:05 p.m.-- Skyblast featuring Third Eye Blind.
- Saturday, September 21 vs. Cincinnati Reds at 7:05 p.m.-- Skyblast featuring Neon Trees.
