MLB completes second day of 2013 Draft

Major League Baseball has completed the second day of the 2013 First-Year Player Draft, which was held via conference call today from 1:00 - 7:00 p.m. (EDT). In total, 316 players have been selected through the first 10 rounds, two Competitive Balance rounds and one Supplemental round.

The Draft will resume on Saturday via conference call beginning with the 11th round at 1:00 p.m. (EDT). The Draft will have 40 rounds and a Club may pass on its selection in any round and not forfeit its right to participate in other rounds.
