Two Minor League Players Suspended

The Office of the Commissioner of Baseball announced today that two Minor League players have received 50-game suspensions without pay following their violations of the Minor League Drug Prevention and Treatment Program.

Chicago White Sox Minor League pitcher Pedro Rodriguez tested positive for metabolites of Stanozolol. Rodriguez is currently on the Club's Dominican Summer League roster.

Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim Minor League outfielder Angel Montilla tested positive for metabolites of Nandrolone. Montilla is currently on the Club's Dominican Summer League roster.

Both suspensions are effective immediately.
