2014 Minnesota Twins First-Year Player Draft Day Two

Twins Have Now Selected a Total of 10 Players Through the First Two Days

Minneapolis/St. Paul, MN - The Minnesota Twins announced today that they have selected eight players on the second day of the 2014 First-Year Player Draft in addition to their first two round selections (#5 and #46) last night. In all, the Twins have drafted eight pitchers, all collegiate arms, and two position players in the first two days of the draft. Additionally, the Twins drafted one Minnesota native, outfielder Max Murphy from Bradley University, who attended Robbinsdale Cooper High School from 2008-11. The First-Year Player Draft will continue with rounds 11-40 tomorrow.
