A-Rod poised to rake against Dickey

Welcome to DraftKings fantasy baseball, the Official Daily Fantasy Game of Major League Baseball.

The players listed below could provide difference-making stats for DraftKings participants on Friday.

Alex Rodriguez (Yankees): The third baseman could rip a roundtripper when he brings his lofty lifetime .302/.382/.559 slash line against right-handers into a matchup at his hitter-friendly home park against Blue Jays righty R.A. Dickey. Since arriving in Toronto at the outset of the 2013 season, the knuckleballer has allowed 78 homers across 90 starts.

Mark Teixeira (Yankees): This season the first baseman has hit 23 homers in 242 at-bats against right-handers, which has helped him produce a .281/.361/.636 slash line in those matchups. He will be primed to hit his 30th roundtripper of the season when he bats at his offense-inducing home park against the homer-prone Dickey.

:: Fred Zinkie's Daily Picks ::

Brian McCann (Yankees): The catcher may improve on his lifetime .829 OPS against right-handers (.757 vs. lefties) when he faces Dickey (4.57 FIP in 2015). With 18 homers and 65 RBIs in 307 at-bats this season, McCann has been among the most productive players at his premium position this season.

Jose Bautista (Blue Jays): Since the outset of the 2010 season, the outfielder has used a patient, powerful approach to build a .266/.387/.554 slash line against right-handers. From the three-hole in baseball's highest-scoring lineup, Bautista could drive in multiple runs against Yankees righty Nathan Eovaldi (4.30 ERA, 1.49 WHIP in 2015).

Wilson Ramos (Nationals): Ramos has long fared best vs. left-handers, against whom he has a lifetime .767 OPS (.712 vs. righties). The catcher could drive in multiple runs when he faces Rockies southpaw Jorge De La Rosa (career 4.62 ERA, 1.44 WHIP). Also of note: Ramos and his teammates will attempt to put balls into play against a Rockies squad that ranks 28th in baseball with a .673 defensive efficiency ratio.

Anthony Rendon (Nationals): With one homer and zero steals across 125 plate appearances during an injury-affected season, Rendon will likely have an economical price tag in DraftKings contests when he faces De La Rosa (4.87 ERA, 1.41 WHIP in 2015). In his career, Rendon has produced an impressive .310/.363/.463 slash line against southpaws.

Michael Brantley (Indians): Since the outset of the 2014 season, Brantley has registered a difference-making .327/.391/.512 slash line against right-handers. The outfielder has the plate skills to thrive against Twins righty Mike Pelfrey (career 4.47 ERA, 1.48 WHIP) and the wheels to swipe a base against Kurt Suzuki, who has allowed more steals than all but three catchers this season.

Salvador Perez (Royals): The catcher has a lifetime .777 OPS against left-handers in comparison to a .721 mark vs. righties. Perez could drive in multiple runs when he tangles with White Sox southpaw John Danks, who has registered a 4.80 ERA and a 1.44 WHIP this season.

Lorenzo Cain (Royals): Hitting .306 with 11 homers and 19 steals across 400 plate appearances, Cain has been a major factor in many 2015 DraftKings contests. The outfielder has the skills to produce in multiple ways when he brings his lifetime .801 OPS against left-handers (.724 vs. righties) into a matchup with Danks (career 4.32 ERA, 1.34 WHIP). Also of note: Cain and his teammates will attempt to put balls into play against a White Sox squad that ranks 29th in the Majors with a .667 defensive efficiency ratio.

Matt Carpenter (Cardinals): The third baseman will be in position to improve on his career .836 OPS against right-handers (.765 vs. lefties) when he faces Brewers rookie righty Tyler Cravy (15 career innings) at hitter-friendly Miller Park.

Jason Heyward (Cardinals): As a big leaguer, the outfielder has excelled against right-handers to the tune of an .830 OPS (.666 vs. lefties). Heyward could rip a roundtripper at Milwaukee's homer-happy venue when he faces the inexperienced Cravy.

Randal Grichuk (Cardinals): Hitting .296 with 12 homers in 243 at-bats since being recalled on May 16, Grichuk has been a cost-effective outfielder in many recent DraftKings contests. He could improve on his lifetime .879 OPS against right-handers (.803 vs. lefties) at the expense of Cravy. Also of note: Grichuk and his teammates will attempt to put balls into play against a Brewers squad that ranks 24th in baseball with a .681 defensive efficiency ratio.

Jose Fernandez (Marlins): With a 2.13 ERA, 1.03 WHIP and 11.1 K/9 rate across six starts since returning from Tommy John surgery, Fernandez has re-established himself as a fantasy ace. The right-hander has the talent to spin a gem at pitcher-friendly Turner Field against a light-hitting Braves lineup that ranks last in baseball with 68 homers.

Jacob deGrom (Mets): The right-hander ranks third in the Majors in ERA (2.09) and WHIP (0.89). On Friday he will be primed to silence the opposition when he works at pitcher-friendly Tropicana Field against a Rays lineup that ranks 28th in baseball with a .674 OPS against righties.

Jake Odorizzi (Rays): DraftKings participants who do not select deGrom may instead opt for his mound opponent. With a season-to-date 2.86 ERA and 1.12 WHIP, the right-hander has the skills to thrive at his pitcher-friendly home park against a Mets lineup that ranks 27th in the Majors with a .679 OPS against righties.

Sonny Gray (A's): With a 2.12 ERA and 0.98 WHIP, Gray could combine several strikeouts and effective innings when he works at his pitcher-friendly home park against an Astros lineup that ranks second in the Majors with 957 whiffs.

Aaron Nola (Phillies): The rookie right-hander has excelled in initial Major League action to the tune of a 3.38 ERA and 0.96 WHIP across three starts. Nola could extend his impressive debut when he plies his trade at pitcher-friendly Petco Park against a Padres lineup that ranks 26th in the Majors with a .679 OPS vs. righties.

All statistics are accurate through the completion of Wednesday's games.
