Adrian Gonzalez's Viva Los Dodgers Days

All-Star first baseman to host families on Viva Los Dodgers Day for the remainder of the 2013 season

LOS ANGELES -- All-Star Dodger first baseman Adrian Gonzalez and his wife Betsy will host families on Viva Los Dodgers Day starting Mother's Day, May 12 (vs. MIA, 1:10 p.m.). "Adrian Gonzalez's Viva Los Dodgers Days" will provide all-inclusive tickets and parking for families in greater Los Angeles by partnering with various non-profit organizations. This Sunday, Gonzalez will host families from Padres Contra El Cancer, an organization committed to improving the quality of life for Latino children with cancer and their families. The Gonzalez family supports Padres Contra El Cancer throughout the year.

"My wife Betsy and I wanted to get families to Dodger games this season because we think a day at the ballpark is a wonderful way for families to spend time together," said Adrian Gonzalez. "We chose Viva Los Dodgers Day because it offers a great family-friendly experience right before the game. We're looking forward to hosting groups that may not have been able to make it out here otherwise."

Adrian and his wife Betsy will host 72 fans per game (18 families of four) and provide one parking pass per each group of four starting Mother's Day and continuing throughout the 2013 season: May 26 (vs. STL), June 9 (vs. ATL), June 30 (vs. PHI), July 14 (vs. COL), July 28 (vs. CIN), August 11 (vs. TB), August 25 (vs. BOS), September 1 (vs. SD), September 14 (vs. SF) and September 29 (vs. COL). Tickets in the All-You-Can-Eat Right Field Pavilion will be provided and include unlimited Dodger dogs, nachos, popcorn, peanuts and Coca-Cola products.

"We're very happy to host families at Viva Los Dodgers day at Dodger Stadium," said Betsy Gonzalez. "Family is the most important thing to us along with building our connection with the LA community. We look forward to this program and to continuing our charitable work in LA with the help of the Dodgers."

Viva Los Dodgers presented by Chevrolet, State Farm and Time Warner Cable, now in its fourth season, takes place each Sunday of every homestand two hours prior to game. The season-long initiative celebrates Latino culture in Los Angeles and the legacy of Latin American Dodgers past and present at a family-friendly pregame festival in lot 6. The event is free with a game day ticket.

This Sunday's Viva Los Dodgers begins at 10:40 a.m. Musical guests include Grammy and Latin Grammy award nominated artist Marion Moreno, former member of Norteño group Los Tucanes de Tijuana, and Mexican Dubwiser, a producer and DJ from Monterrey, Mexico. Dodger alumnus Tim Leary will sign autographs for fans starting at 10:40 a.m. Dodger legend and Spanish-language broadcaster Fernando Valenzuela will sign autographs for fans starting at 12:00 p.m.

The Dodgers will celebrate Mother's Day with a special postgame Walk Around the Park and a Tote Bag giveaway presented by Murad Skincare for the first 40,000 fans in attendance. Auto and stadium gates open early at 10:40 a.m.
