The Atlanta Braves released their 2016 spring training schedule today. The 34-game slate begins on Tuesday, March 1, with a home contest against the Baltimore Orioles at ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex in Lake Buena Vista, Fla. The Braves will open the road portion of their spring schedule on Wednesday, March 2, when they face the Orioles at Sarasota, Fla.

Braves' pitchers and catchers are scheduled to report to camp on Friday, February 19, with their first workout set for the following day. The rest of the Braves players are scheduled to report on Wednesday, February 24, with the first full-squad workout slated for February 25. Atlanta will play a total of 17 home games at Wide World of Sports. They will play host to 11 different teams, including three home games versus the Houston Astros and two home games against the Detroit Tigers, New York Mets and Philadelphia Phillies. The Orioles, Miami Marlins, Pittsburgh Pirates, New York Yankees, St. Louis Cardinals, Tampa Bay Rays and Washington Nationals will make one visit each to Disney.

The opponent for Atlanta's final game in Florida on April 1 has not yet been determined. On Saturday, April 2, the Braves will take on the Braves future stars in an exhibition game. The time and location for that contest will also be announced later in the off-season.

Individual spring training game tickets will go on sale Monday, December 7, at the Wide World of Sports box office and through the Atlanta Braves' website (braves.com/springtraining).
