Braves Announce 2012 Spring Training Schedule
Ticket packages on sale now; Individual game tickets go on sale Saturday, January 7
Atlanta will play a total of 18 home games at Wide World of Sports, as they play host to 10 different teams, including three games each versus the Houston Astros and the New York Mets, and two games each against the Tigers, the Toronto Blue Jays, and the Washington Nationals. The defending American League East Champion New York Yankees will make two visits, on March 10 and March 28, and the defending National League East Champion Philadelphia Phillies will make one visit on April 1. The Baltimore Orioles, St. Louis Cardinals and Miami Marlins will also make one visit each.
The Florida portion of the schedule includes three home night games: Wednesday, March 14, versus the Nationals, Friday, March 16, versus the Astros and Friday, March 30 versus the Astros.
On Tuesday, April 3, the Atlanta Braves will travel to Coolray Field in Lawrenceville, Ga., to take on the Braves future stars in an exhibition game. Game time is slated for 6:05 p.m.
Individual spring training game tickets will go on sale Saturday, January 7, at 10:00 a.m., at the Wide World of Sports box office, through the Atlanta Braves' website (braves.com/springtraining), and through Ticketmaster (800/745-3000). Spring training ticket prices for 2012 range from $10.00 (general admission lawn seats) to $46.00 (lower level reserved seats). Ticket information for the one exhibition game at Coolray Field will be announced at a later date.
