Braves sign top 13 selections from 2013 draft

To coincide with the July 12th signing deadline, the Atlanta Braves signed their top 13 draft selections, including 26 of their top 27 from the 2013 First-Year Player Draft. Overall, the 40 draftees included 19 pitchers (14 right-handed, five left-handed), seven outfielders, 10 infielders and four catchers. Atlanta selected 17 high school players, while the remaining 23 players drafted were chosen out of college.
