Minnesota Swarm press release:

SAINT PAUL, Minn. – The Minnesota Swarm today announced that it has added Lindsay Guentzel as one of the team’s in-arena hosts for the 2013 season at Treasure Island Field at Xcel Energy Center.

Guentzel will work alongside the Toyota Professor and public address announcer Bruce Cusick on gamedays, and will be emceeing in-game elements with fans and partners.

“I’m really looking forward to being able to interact with Swarm fans,” Guentzel said. “The energy at Xcel Energy Center during Swarm games is unlike anything that I’ve ever experienced, and the fans are so dedicated and in love with their team. I’m really excited to get in front of them and help feed that energy.”

Guentzel’s background includes time spent working for the Minnesota Daily, WCCO-TV, KFAN 100.3, and FOX Sports North. Earlier this year, the New Prague, Minn. native was selected to represent the Minnesota Twins as a MLB Fan Cave participant in New York City.

This time last year, Lindsay was campaigning for a spot in the MLB Fan Cave. We are happy to see her land another job in professional sports.
