Corporate sponsors support the 2013 MLB Diversity Business Summit in Houston

List Includes Four "Fortune 500" Companies; Several Sponsors Providing Scholarships for Students to Attend the Summit

National and local corporate sponsors, including "Fortune 500" companies Dell, Inc., Liberty Mutual Insurance, ARAMARK and CISCO, have signed on to support the 2013 MLB Diversity Business Summit, which is co-hosted by MLB and the Houston Astros and will be held June 18th and 19th at the George R. Brown Convention Center in Houston. The MLB Diversity Business Summit is the leading diversity and procurement event that provides attendees with unprecedented access to human resource and procurement executives from all 30 MLB Clubs, MLB Network, MLB Advanced Media, Minor League Baseball Clubs and MLB's Central Office. Sponsor activations for the Summit were separated into two categories, "Presenting Title Sponsors" and "Presenting Sponsors." Below is a list of Presenting Title Sponsors and their specific activation:

Dell, Inc.: Dell, Inc.'s sponsorship includes donating tablets and laptops to student-athletes from the Houston Astros MLB Urban Youth Academy, and also from the other MLB Urban Youth Academies around the country (i.e. Compton, California; New Orleans, Louisiana). Dell sponsored the inaugural MLB Diversity Business Summit in 2012.

Liberty Mutual Insurance: Liberty Mutual Insurance is the exclusive Insurance category sponsor of the 2013 MLB Diversity Business Summit. They will be an exhibitor on the trade fair floor to enhance the experience for job-seekers and entrepreneurs, while also engaging in exclusive "meet & greets."

True Blue Inclusion: True Blue Inclusion (TBI) created a distinctive and innovative TBI brand experience with their support of the "Dugout" design competition in which finalists competed to win the opportunity to design the space for the Summit's Welcome Reception in the form of a "Ballpark Dugout." The company's sponsorship includes supporting students from Texas A&M University to attend the 2013 MLB Diversity Business Summit.

ARAMARK: One of the leading concessionaires among MLB Clubs, ARAMARK will be an exhibitor on the trade fair floor to enrich the job-seeker and entrepreneur experience as they seek to hire and increase their spend with minority- and women-owned businesses and entrepreneurs.

The Presenting Sponsors of the 2013 MLB Diversity Business Summit are Andrews Kurth, LLP, CISCO, Hyatt, Crane Worldwide, Rock It Moving, Elite Change, Inc., and Medley, Inc. These sponsors are providing a variety of supportive elements, including offering scholarships to undergraduate and graduate students (from Texas and select Historically Black Colleges and Universities throughout the country) to attend the 2013 MLB Diversity Business Summit.

The agenda for the event will include league-wide networking, exhibit floor access, workshops and executive table discussions.
