Count confrmed after review in A's-Astros game

Home-plate umpire asks to check balls and strikes to Guzman in eighth

OAKLAND -- Home-plate umpire Mike Winters lost track of the count during Jesus Guzman's at-bat in the top of the eighth inning of the game between the A's and Astros, leading to a crew-chief review on Saturday afternoon at O.co Coliseum.

The count was one ball, two strikes on the Astros first baseman before the review, and was confirmed at one ball and two strikes upon completion.

Guzman was ultimately called out on strikes against A's lefty Scott Kazmir.
