D-backs' makeover of Chase Field team shops to drastically enhance fan experience in 2015

PHOENIX - The Arizona Diamondbacks, in partnership with Levy Retail Group, have completed the renovations at Chase Field, leading to a vastly enhanced experience for fans seeking merchandise in the 2015 season. The Chase Field Team Shop presented by Majestic, offers completely remodeled stores on the Main Concourse, Suite Level and Upper Concourse as well as eight new walk-in concepts throughout the ballpark.

"When our fans first walk into our Team Shop on Opening Day next week, they are going to be blown away," said D-backs President & CEO Derrick Hall. "Not only has the entire flagship store been completely reimagined, but the breadth of our merchandise offerings in the stores and concourse shops throughout Chase Field is truly incredible."

The flagship store, which is now open to the public and remains open every day from 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM, added more than 600 square feet of space. In addition to increased offerings of player-related items, there are significantly more options for fans to customize jerseys, bats and caps. The volume of items available for women and children has been dramatically improved and one shop on the Main Concourse is dedicated solely to those two demographics and includes a candy store.

The team's unique partnership with the award-winning Levy Retail Group allows both entities to deliver a fully integrated fan experience, combining food and merchandise offerings in various areas throughout Chase Field while creating opportunities for cross promotion on the digital menu boards on every level.

Additional walk-in concepts on the Main Concourse offer fans great merchandise options from Nike, New Era and '47 Brand.

Outside the ballpark, a new walk-in retail truck will offer fans exclusive merchandise and memorabilia. The mobile merchandise and marketing unit debuted earlier this year and will accompany the D-backs to many of their community events around the Phoenix metropolitan area.

Fans seeking game-used equipment will enjoy the enhanced offerings from D-backs Authentics, located at Section 141 on the main concourse. This will include items such as lineup cards, broken bats, uniforms and other game-used and authenticated memorabilia from D-backs games throughout the 2015 season. Net proceeds from these sales will directly benefit the Arizona Diamondbacks Foundation.

The renovations were completed in partnership with HKS Architects, Shawmut Design & Construction and 555 International, an award-winning global design, development and fabrication firm.
