Miggy sits out second straight game

CHICAGO -- Third baseman Miguel Cabrera was out of the Detroit lineup for the second straight day Wednesday to nurse a sore left hip flexor.

After saying Tuesday night this would most likely be the case, Tigers manager Jim Leyland said Cabrera was feeling better on Wednesday, but nothing more.

Leyland does not expect Cabrera's nagging injury to warrant a trip to the disabled list.
