Storen could earn more save opportunities

KANSAS CITY -- Nationals manager Davey Johnson hasn't ruled out right-hander Drew Storen closing more games the rest of the season. Johnson acknowledged that he is concerned about closer Rafael Soriano, who has allowed seven runs in his last 11 1/3 innings.

"I don't know if I overworked him, but his numbers aren't as good as they been have in the past," Johnson said.

Since Storen return from the Minor Leagues, he has retired 15 out of the 16 hitters he has faced and Johnson feels Storen is back to the pitcher who saved 43 games in 2011.
