Ernie Banks with Pearl Jam

Concerts happen at ballparks quite often these days. As for an actual MLB legend to be on stage during the concert? Not so much.

That is exactly what happened on Friday night, though, when Pearl Jam played a concert at historic Wrigley Field. The fans that stuck around after a lengthy rain delay got a special treat when Chicago Cubs legend Ernie Banks was brought on stage. The band then performed "All The Way" with Banks on hand. Legend has it that the track was written by Pearl Jam front man Eddie Vedder after Banks asked him to write a song about the Cubs.
