First-Place Dodgers Conclude Eighth Homestand of Season with Series Against Brewers

LOS ANGELES - The Dodgers' eighth homestand of the season concludes with a three-game series against the Milwaukee Brewers tomorrow, July 10, Saturday, July 11 and Sunday, July 12. Games tomorrow and Saturday against the Brewers begin at 7:10 p.m. with auto gates opening at 4:40 p.m. and stadium gates opening at 5:10 p.m. Sunday's game starts at 1:10 p.m. with auto gates opening at 10:40 a.m. and stadium gates at 11:10 a.m. Tickets for games against the Brewers can be purchased by calling 866-DODGERS or by visiting www.dodgers.com/tickets.

Levy Restaurants for this homestand is offering the BLT Pizza (image attached), available only at Tommy Lasorda's Trattoria which features a fresh dough pizza slice with shredded mozzarella cheese, Applewood smoked bacon, topped with shredded iceberg lettuce, diced tomatoes and drizzled with creamy Ranch dressing.

Logo baseballs, fan hands and mini bats are 1 for $6, 2 for $11 or 3 for $15 this homestand only at Dodger Stadium merchandise locations.

The Dodgers take on the Brewers Friday at 7:10 p.m. Auto gates open at 4:40 p.m. and stadium gates open at 5:10 p.m. Fans are invited onto the field for Friday Night Fireworks presented by Denny's immediately following Friday's game. In an effort to continue to be good neighbors to the residents surrounding Dodger Stadium, fireworks shows will take place before 11:00 p.m. and are subject to cancellation due to length of game.

Local musician and lyric soprano Gretchen Anderson will perform the national anthem as part of Mormon Night at Dodger Stadium. Pregame entertainment will also include DJ Adam in the right-field plaza and a strolling magician in the left-field plaza from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Dodger alumnus Lee Lacy will sign autographs in the left-field pavilion from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

The Military Hero of the Game is U.S. Coast Guard and Marine Corps Petty Officer Second Class Brian Escamilla.

The Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation (LADF) conducts silent auctions throughout the season featuring more than 25 signed pieces of memorabilia from Dodger players, coaches and alumni. Auctions will take place behind the Vin Scully press box on the club level. The items up for auction on Friday include a Kenley Jansen autographed photo, Yasmani Grandal autographed baseball and Howie Kendrick autographed Dodger jersey. The auction will end at 8:45 p.m.

As part of Kids 4 Dodgers Baseball presented by Nike, 383 youth from Variety Boys & Girls Club in East L.A., Barbara Phelps Community Schools in Redlands, Sports Fitness & Fun Camp, and Faith Over Fear Hospitality House in Inglewood will be in attendance. Kids 4 Dodgers Baseball provides Los Angeles area inner-city youth with a Dodger game experience courtesy of the Dodgers. Prior to tomorrow's game, the Special Olympics Unified Relay Across America presented by Bank of America will culminate at Dodger Stadium. The first of its kind relay covered 50 states over 46 days with the final leg ending at the stadium. The Special Olympics Flame of Hope will continue its journey throughout California by the Law Enforcement Torch Run^® Final Leg team, presented by Bank of America, for the 2015 Special Olympics World Games, culminating with the lighting of the cauldron at the Opening Ceremony on July 25.

The first 40,000 fans in attendance tomorrow receive a Special Olympics World Games commemorative Pin, presented by Bank of America. The Dodgers will also invite fans to participate in the Circle of Inclusion social media campaign. During pregame activities, beginning at 5:00 p.m. at the left-field plaza, fans can meet Dodger alumni, World Games staff and Special Olympics athletes and pose with the Circle of Inclusion. Fans are encouraged to share their pictures on social media using the official campaign hashtags #ReachUPLA, #LA2015, @LA2015 along with the Dodger Official hashtags #Dodgers @Dodgers.

Friday, July 10

The Dodgers take on the Brewers at 7:10 p.m. Saturday. Auto gates open at 4:40 p.m. and stadium gates open at 5:10 p.m. The first 40,000 fans in attendance will receive a Juan Uribe bobblehead presented by Farmer John. Anderson da Silva, mixed martial artist and former UFC middleweight champion will throw the first pitch. Sophie Simmons, daughter of rock legend Gene Simmons, positive body image activist, fashion designer, actress and singer, will perform the national anthem.

Pregame entertainment will also include pop band Everett Coast in the left-field plaza, singer Michael O. in the right-field reserve level, DJ Adam in the right-field reserve plaza and a strolling yo-yo artist the left-field reserve plaza from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Dodger alumnus Billy Ashley will sign autographs in the left-field pavilion from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

The Military Hero of the Game is U.S. Army Sergeant First Class Eric Quintanar.

As part of Kids 4 Dodgers Baseball presented by Nike, 145 youth from Rowan Avenue Elementary in East L.A. and Greater Ebenezer Missionary Baptist Church in South L.A. will be in attendance. Saturday, July 11

The Dodgers conclude their series against the Brewers and the eighth homestand and the first half of the 2015 season at 1:10 p.m. Sunday. Auto gates open at 10:40 a.m. and stadium gates open at 11:10 a.m. The first 15,000 ticketed kids 14 and under in attendance will receive a Kids' Hamper presented by Time Warner Cable (image attached). Dodger alumnus Derrel Thomas will sign autographs in the left-field pavilion from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Singer, actress, R&B Divas L.A. star and "X-Factor" finalist Stacy Francis will perform the national anthem.

The Dodgers will celebrate Cuban Heritage Day at Viva Los Dodgers. All Dodger Cubans and Cuban-Americans will participate in Sunday's celebration. Viva Los Dodgers presented by State Farm and Time Warner Cable at the historic 76 station will feature photos with fans from 11:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. with All-Star catcher Yasmani Grandal. Outfielder Alex Guerrero will take photos with fans from 11:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Outfielder Yasiel Puig will greet fans on stage at 11:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and take part in a Q&A session alongside reliever Paco Rodriguez. Pro Images LLC will provide one complimentary photo per family or group.

As part of Cuban Heritage Day at Viva Los Dodgers, musical entertainment will be provided by The Arsenio Rodriguez Project and Buena Onda. Dodger scout Mike Brito will also partake in a meet and greet with fans at 12:00 p.m. Levy Restaurants will offer exclusively at Viva Los Dodgers this Sunday, the Cuban Dog. The Cuban Dog features a quarter-pound all-beef hot dog topped with ham, pulled pork, Swiss cheese, yellow mustard and pickle chips and will be available at Viva Los Dodgers while supplies last.

Sunday's Viva Los Dodgers is a pregame component of Cuban Heritage Day at Dodger Stadium which will feature Cuban music mogul and 19-time Grammy award winner Emilio Estefan throwing the ceremonial first pitch before the game. The Dodgers will present a community hero award to the Gavina family at Viva Los Dodgers. Gavina Coffee, a Cuban-owned business, has been a coffee tradition in Los Angeles since 1967. Cuban-American Alejandro Mayorkas, Deputy Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security, will also throw an honorary first pitch.

Viva Los Dodgers takes place each Sunday of every homestand, two hours prior to the game. The season-long initiative celebrates Latino culture in Los Angeles and the legacy of Latino Dodgers past and present at a family-friendly pregame festival at the historic 76 station. As part of Adrian Gonzalez's Viva Los Dodgers program, families from the Salvadorian-American Leadership and Educational Fund will attend Sunday's game courtesy of Gonzalez and wife Betsy. The Gonzalez family plays host to 72 fans per Sunday home game (18 families of four) and provides one parking pass per each group of four throughout the 2015 season. Tickets in the All-You-Can-Eat right-field pavilion are provided and include unlimited Dodger dogs, nachos, popcorn, peanuts and Coca-Cola products.
