FOX Sports North, Treasure Island Baseball Network and 96.3 K-TWIN Radio Team up to Broadcast Minnesota Twins Spring Training Games

FOX Sports North Will Televise All Home Games While 96.3 K-TWIN Will Broadcast All Games

MINNEAPOLIS-ST. PAUL, Minn. - FOX Sports North, the Treasure Island Baseball Network and 96.3 K-TWIN Radio today announced the Minnesota Twins Spring Training telecast and radio broadcast schedules for the 2014 season. FOX Sports North will telecast all 16 home games at Hammond Stadium, while 96.3 K-TWIN will broadcast all 29 Twins Spring Training games (excludes split squad away games on March 3 and March 14).

 

A fresh approach to Spring Training production, the telecast games will be television-radio simulcasts featuring a combination of FOX Sports North game coverage, graphics and replays accompanied by play-by-play descriptions and analysis from the Treasure Island Baseball Network's (TIBN) metro affiliate 96.3 K-TWIN.

 

The team of announcers featured throughout Spring Training will include veteran television announcer Dick Bremer and Baseball Hall of Famer Bert Blyleven, as well as the Treasure Island Baseball Network's Cory Provus, Dan Gladden and Kris Atteberry.

 

All sixteen of the Minnesota Twins Spring Training games from Hammond Stadium will appear on TV, beginning with a 12 noon CT telecast on Saturday, March 1 against the Boston Red Sox. The joint partnership between the regional sports network and the radio home of the Minnesota Twins provides fans with the opportunity to view more Spring Training games than ever before - eleven more than last season.

 

Meanwhile, for the second consecutive season, ALL Twins Spring Training games will be carried LIVE on 96.3 K-TWIN - the team's metro radio affiliate. Most games will also be made available to fans across Twins Territory via the team's 81-station TIBN.
