Giants Minor Leaguer Relaford suspended

The Office of the Commissioner of Baseball announced today that San Francisco Giants Minor League shortstop Travious Relaford has received a 50-game suspension without pay following a second positive test for a drug of abuse in violation of the Minor League Drug Prevention and Treatment Program.

The suspension of Relaford, who is currently on the roster of the Single-A Augusta GreenJackets of the South Atlantic League, will be effective at the start of the 2016 SAL season.
