Hitter Flips Bat on Fly Out

There’s nothing like getting a hold of one, throwing a bat flip right in the pitchers face and having it caught at the warning track. At what point in your trot do you realize you’ve made a mistake? That the moonshot you thought you just smashed hit the pocket of the outfielder’s glove? Must be a sinking feeling. If there’s one rule to bat flipping, it’s that the ball has to go over the fence. Still love the idea though.

Interestingly, it's not the first time this has happened in 2013.
