Ichiro Reaches 4,000 Hits
On the brink of his 4,000th career hit, Ichiro Suzuki wasted no time Wednesday night against the Toronto Blue Jays, slapping a line drive into left field (in typical Ichiro fashion) in his first at-bat to achieve the milestone.
Really cool moment as #Yankees come flooding out of the dugout to congratulate Ichiro, who then bows to the crowd. #Icon

There are very few moments that elicit a response like this, and very few players are deserving of such an honor as Ichiro.
He’s slowed down some from his 200-hit seasons, but he still plays at a high enough level to wonder just how far the future Hall of Famer can take it.
Incredible accomplishment. #Ichiro pic.twitter.com/MQc1zucp7r
