Indians Minor Leaguer Sturdevant Suspended
The Office of the Commissioner of Baseball announced today that Cleveland Indians Minor League right-handed pitcher Tyler Sturdevant has received a 50-game suspension without pay after testing positive for Amphetamine, a stimulant in violation of the Minor League Drug Prevention and Treatment Program.
The suspension of Sturdevant, who is currently on the roster of the Triple-A Columbus Clippers of the International League, will be effective at the start of the 2015 International League season.
