Indians set 2015 Opening Day roster

CLEVELAND, OH - The Cleveland Indians today announced the following roster moves relative to the Major League roster:

Purchased the contract of RHP ANTHONY SWARZAK from the Triple-A Columbus roster.

Placed RHP JOSH TOMLIN (right shoulder surgery/retro 29-Mar) on the 15-day Disabled List and rescinded his March 30 option to AAA Columbus.

Placed OF NICK SWISHER (rehab, bi-lateral knee surgery/retro 2-Apr) and INF ZACH WALTERS (right oblique strain/retro 27-Mar) on the 15-day Disabled List

Placed RHP GAVIN FLOYD (right elbow fracture/surgery) on the 60-day Disabled List.

Reassigned LHP BRUCE CHEN, C BRETT HAYES, RHP JEFF MANSHIP, RHP SHAUN MARCUM, INF MICHAEL MARTINEZ, INF RYAN ROHLINGER and 1B/OF JERRY SANDS to the AAA Columbus roster.

The Indians are set to open the 2015 Championship Season in Houston on Monday, April 6 with
