Legends of the Summer Stadium Tour

Today it was announced that JAY Z and Justin Timberlake, as part of their "Legends of the Summer Stadium Tour," will perform a second date at Yankee Stadium on Saturday, July 20. The additional concert is a result of the overwhelming demand during today's ticket on-sale for the previously-announced show on Friday, July 19.

The general public ticket on-sale for the second "Legends of the Summer Stadium Tour" concert will begin on Monday, March 18 at 10:00 a.m., online at www.livenation.com, via charge-by-phone at (800) 745-3000 and via TTY at (800) 943-4327.

Yankees full- and partial-season ticket licensees, Yankees Universe members, Yankees Group Leaders and Yankees.com subscribers will have the opportunity to take part in a special pre-on-sale, the details of which can be found at www.yankees.com/legendsofthesummer.

Ticket prices are subject to change based on date/time of purchase. There will be no price adjustments for prior ticket purchases.

The current Yankee Stadium has hosted some of the biggest names in music, while taking its place as one of the most important venues on the worldwide concert circuit. Last year, Madonna sold out Yankee Stadium on September 6 and 8, during her MDNA world tour, and Roger Waters, co-founder and principal songwriter of Pink Floyd, brought his production of The Wall to the Stadium on July 6 and 7. Two years ago, legendary Beatle Paul McCartney performed a pair of sold-out shows at Yankee Stadium on July 15 and 16, 2011, and Metallica capped off a full day of heavy metal on September 14, 2011.

JAY Z co-headlined the first full-scale concerts at the current Yankee Stadium, sharing the bill with Eminem on September 13 and 14, 2010, for two sold-out shows. The Brooklyn-born rapper also performed at Yankee Stadium on October 29, 2009, singing his hit "Empire State of Mind" with Alicia Keys prior to the Yankees' 3-1 victory over the Philadelphia Phillies in Game 2 of the World Series.
