Joe Ortiz Meets Minnie Mouse

During the Rangers’ visit to Anaheim to face the Angels, Joe Ortiz found some time to meet one of his dear friends who always has his back and carries his burden. Pun intended.

As part of his rookie hazing, Ortiz has been sporting the pink Minnie Mouse backpack and recently tweeted this picture of Minnie Mouse and him at Disneyland. Hope this brings him even more magic as he’s been dazzling the team with a 1.42 ERA over 12.2 innings so far this year.
