Khris Davis Loses His Glove Trying to Rob Home Run
So close, and yet so far.
Brewers left fielder Khris Davis came within about an inch of robbing Freddie Freeman of a home run yesterday. But the ball eluded Davis' reach, and in the process of trying to make the catch, his glove slipped off his hand and over the fence as well. Thankfully, a thoughtful Braves fan tossed the glove back to Davis.
This isn't the first time this season an outfielder has found himself suddenly gloveless and in need of assistance from a fan.
