Military Surprise at Mariners Game

U.S. Air Force Technical Sergeant Donald Kitchens vowed to take his four-year-old son to a Seattle Mariners game when he returned from his 15-month deployment in Turkey.

Those plans came to fruition when he surprised his wife and two children at home plate at Safeco Field on Friday night.

The family thought Donald’s deployment had been extended, but he snuck up behind them as they were bringing out the lineup card to the home plate umpire.

A truly touching moment.
