Montreal Street Named for Gary Carter

Despite now being a devoted Toronto Blue Jays fan I was raised a Montreal Expos fan, admiring guys like Andre Dawson, Larry Walker and Gary Carter, to name a few. Evidently, however, I am not the only one who will always have fond memories of the Expos. Ensuring this, a street in Montreal has been renamed to Gary Carter Street after the Expos Hall of Fame Catcher who played in Montreal between 1974-1984 and was an All-Star seven times during his career!

While he unfortunately passed recently from brain cancer, his memory will live on through this street in Montreal and forever in my heart.
